Great romance story and has easy to understand character emotions and attitudes

Ok , so reading the first two pages and I was already interested in reading more about the story. I also liked how easy you made it for the reader to know which were her thoughts by I believe italicizing them? ( correct me if I am wrong please ). The first event that was the really easy for me visualize in the book was the way she escape in the forest or whatever it was called from the sounds she heard. It is also easy to understand what the characters are feeling. I am a bit religious myself and adding that ending is a very nice closure to use ~!

Unique love story! Must read!

Collecte's Journey is the story of young Colette who is a young Amish girl who wants so much more in life. She fantasizes about leaving the Amish world daily. Suddenly a wounded cowboy stumbled into her life after having botched a robbery. Will Collette follow her heart and the cowboy or obey her parents and continue her Amish life. This is a truly unique book, a plot unlike I've read before. It was a pretty quick read but great! I found myself wanting more for Collette! You will love this book!

Compelling romance with relatable characters

This is a compelling story of a young Amish woman who is struggling over her decision to leave home. Collette wants to leave the restrictive Amish lifestyle, at the risk of being shunned by her family and the only community she’s ever known. Suddenly, she meets up with an injured cowboy, the handsome Caleb. As she is nursing him back to health, she realized they share many of the same interests and values. She must make the decision to go with the Caleb into his life or remaining in her comfortable and familiar world—without the man she has come to love.
“Collette’s Journey” is a beautifully written romance that had me hooked from the first couple of pages. Author Brianna Lantz has a gift of painting a vivid picture of her characters and the setting. I felt as though I were there with Collette as she struggled with what to do. And Caleb was the type of flawed hero that every romance reader loves. I also enjoyed the switch of point-of-view, as indicated with italicized fonts (often it gets confusing if the POV isn’t clearly signaled). This novel is strong in values—a refreshing change from most of the romance novels I read. This was written with intelligent, mature readers in mind. It’s a quick, but memorable read and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves inspirational literature.
