Beautiful story

When Aaron had to uproot his family Rebecca was angry with him. Moving to a Amish community leaving their friends upset all of them. Rebecca was so angry that she took it out on her whole family. When Freedom showed up at the farm her attitude started to change. When she became friends with Atlee and his family he helped her get over her anger problems. The way Rebecca changes is truly amazing. You can feel God working in this book.

I loved this book and can't wait to read the next one. I just could not put it down. I had to read late into the night to finish it. Rebecca and her family suffered a great loss, and because of it, they had to change their names and go into hiding, leaving their home and all their friends behind. They did this by moving into an Amish community. Rebecca hated it, she hated her father because of everything he had done, until she met Atlee, an Amish boy, who taught her the language, and changed her whole perspective on living Amish. He taught her about forgiveness and love. This is a book that everyone will love. My ancestors were not Amish, but as I remember, they lived much the way the Amish do today.

Very good book

At first I could not get into the book but after the first chapter I was enjoying it very much. The characters were realistic and I liked how she apologized to her father and siblings. Can't wait to read next book.
