I love that she breaks down most of the different types ...

I am an author that has self published and published through a publisher. I have only attended two author signing events so far and am looking forward to many more. I too suffer from anxiety, so to know that this book is written by someone who understands the fears of interacting with strangers is a plus. I love that she breaks down most of the different types of events that an author would have the opportunity to attend with different tips for each platform. She emphasizes the importance of in-person events providing an important connection to your readers and potential new readers and I couldn't agree with her more. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the books in this series since this one was packed with so much information. It is a great investment of less than three dollars.

Excellant Reference Guide

The book is concise, full of important information, well-written, and easy to follow. As an author, I know how important in-person events are to selling yourself and your books. Pavarti does an excellent job of covering all the bases. I wish I read this before my first book and have immediately added it to my reference shelf because I'll use it as a refresher on all the things I should be doing. If you're looking for a magic bullet to catapult your book to best-seller status, you won't find it here. That's probably because no such bullet exists. But if you want some guidance on the best practices for in-person events, you should read this book and keep it handy.

I found this book helpful. I especially great in that the author presents herself as human as some of us are with real fears and overcoming them. She doesn't present herself as an untouchable icon. I am also an author and I also deal with CPTSD, severe social anxiety, and anthropophobia (fear of people and interpersonal relationships) that have been major hurtles for me appearing in public. I wished there was a bit more help for authors that live in remote regions as opposed to urban ones that isolates them from readers. All and all
