The plot will keep the reader captivated and the pages turning as a heartwarming story is spun off from Biblical figures we learned about and loved. The dialog is clean, inspiring and heartwarming.

He has no desire to leave his family and the Amish way, but the dream pulls him away. He knows someone is needing him, but where and why? The mishaps to Jonah along the way before he makes it to Los Angeles brought out human emotions. The message of this story is enlightening. Our lives are to be lived by faith, not by sight. Jonah trusts, obeys and goes.

WHEN GOD SPEAKS THERE IS NO REASON NOT TO OBEY HIS LEADING
I enjoyed this inspirational story and book 3 of the Amish Bible Heroes series. After the death of his wife Sarah, Abraham Stoltzfus realizes his son Isaac needs a wife but the Amish community is so small and there are no suitable women available. Abe, sending his friend Mark to Lancaster, PA on a mission to locate a wife for Isaac, prays for God's will and guidance. The story is fascinating as it follows from the Biblical account of Isaac and Rebecca. Mark finds Rebekah Miller and God opens the door. With God, all things are possible and He can use His messengers. The faith of Rebekah that she believes God is leading her from Pennsylvania to Ontario, Canada. But there is also a nice little surprise in this story.

What a beautiful and emotional story that kept me captivated and the pages turning, one that ties in with the story of Joseph from the Bible. In this Amish tale, Joseph has many older brothers, but they are not followers of God and chose to live wicked lives. But just like in the Bible, these Amish Fisher brothers are jealous of Joseph and cause harm to him in the Amish community where he is shunned and must leave. Although Joseph is banished and must enter the English world to work and live, he continually praises God. This story is a valuable lesson that just because we are Christians, followers of Christ, we will suffer heartache and loss. We must believe and trust even when it seems the whole world is falling apart. God won’t lead you where His grace can’t keep you.

PUTTING FAITH INTO ACTION AND FEET TO YOUR PRAYERS
Ok, I admit, this one has me crying emotional and happy tears. My heart was breaking for Joseph and Miriam as they wanted a baby so badly and month after month, it was not happening. This story is the faith or at times, lack of it as Joseph begins to question God and Miriam. This story kept me captivated and the pages turning as Joseph and Miriam are truly tested in their faith. Human emotions and anger spill forth, doubt and confusion, which are tools of the devil. Sometimes we must get out of our comfort zone and learn, making room for the miracles of God answering our prayers. Even doctors could not explain this because they rely on science rather than accept God is always in control. His timing is not the same as our timing, but His timing is always perfect timing. I love how the Christmas story of the birth of our Savior ties in with this miracle, a testament of God’s love and grace. I've read a few of these books in the individuals, but when I saw the whole set I simply had to read them again. I was happy to read the new "Miracle Child and I never actually got around to reading the first one, "Ruth" Quite a read! I just started and read the whole set, rereading even the ones I read before. They are worth the second read, and with Kindle Unlimited making the book free, how can you beat it. It is a wonderful group of stories and Grace Given is a marvelous author. Thanks for giving me time at this busy season to remember "Christ in Christmas.

Amish story lines did not disappoint.

I have enjoyed reading books centered on Amish for quite some time. This boxset did not disappoint. I especially liked how these brought the connection to stories from the Bible. Look forward to reading many more books centered around the Amish and their unwavering faith.
