Juliette Duncan is a Christian fiction author, passionate about writing stories that will touch her readers' hearts and make a difference in their lives. Although a trained school teacher, Juliette spent many years working alongside her husband in their own business, but is now relishing the opportunity to follow her passion for writing stories she herself would love to read. Based in Brisbane, Australia, Juliette and her husband have five adult children, seven grandchildren, and much loved elderly long haired dachshund. Apart from writing, Juliette loves exploring the great world we live in, and has travelled extensively, both within Australia and overseas. She also enjoys social dancing and eating out. Juliette's first published series, "The Madeleine Richards Series", was written specifically for middle grade girls as she has a real interest in that age group, and she believes the more they can be encouraged to read good, wholesome books the better. Her most recent series is a Contemporary Christian romance set in England and Ireland.

a great end to the series!

Beyond the Shadows, written by Juliette Duncan, is the third book in the series The Shadows Trilogy. This series is about Lizzy and Danny. I think this book was extremely emotional. It truly showed the reason for Grace through Jesus Christ throughout this story. My favorite character was Lizzy because she truly shows how a real person tends to feel. Lizzy wants to fix things. She wants to help Danny with his recovery from alcohol and fix his past. BUT thankfully she learns through it all that her faith has to increase and how each person has the opportunity to make the decision to believe on their own. A relationship with God is a personal choice, not forced on us nor does it just happen. Be ready to feel quite a bit of sadness throughout this story, yet with the underlying hope that Jesus will definitely be able to fix things, if the choices are made for Him. I was gifted this book in exchange for my honest review. I recommend this series.

I was given the opportunity to read this amazing story as a gift, in exchange for an honest review. I was thrilled to have this experience. Juliette brings to life real situations through characters who you become invested in and by the time you complete the story you want more. There is no question that this author embraces faith and life challenges that jump off the pages. Wow! Awesome to follow these fascinating people as they represent struggles many face. I don't want to give away the gist of the culmination of this series, but suffice it to say, if you want to discover strong, gut wrentching feelings and experiences that give you pause, I highly recommend reading Juliette's creations. It is wonderful to read a book that is clean, wholesome, and inspiring. Amazing things happen as you read and have to make decisions about who you can identify with and what that means. Thank you Juliette for giving me this blessing.

There is something extremely amazing that happens within a story when an author can capture the true meaning of what it means to surrender your cares to the Lord. The struggle that Daniel has to endure with unforgiveness was one that we can all relate to. The author wrote it in a way that you could feel Daniel's emotions, it was like you could see the pain as he struggled and feel the triumph and joy as he clung to God. Not only was the author able to show a picture of forgiveness, but she captured the picture of marriage in a way that would encourage those who are wondering how to love and be a blessing to their husbands. This author understand about praying for your marriage, she shows you how vital prayer is. There are so many awesome things about this book and this series. Highly and strongly recommend it.
