This second book in their series on explaining change and personal development for organizations, “The Reality of Change” does a great job of explaining why people are reluctant to change, which is important for a change leader to understand, as well as how to “work” a person to get past those reluctancies. By extension, you begin to put together what is needed to truly move an organization through the emotions of the change process. When you can “work” the emotions, you can truly move a person to the next spot. Until then, you don’t. This book provides insights into how to understand what's going on, and to deal with it. I look forward to a subsequent book that explains how to move larger groups of people, organizations!

Every leader needs this book in her/his leadership library. Practical, insightful, and helpful insights into how one can lead change is what The Reality of Change offers. It's rare that one can find an "easy" read that is so impactful in application but this book offers that. Take these principles and apply them and your leadership will go to a whole new level. I purchased 100 copies to give to my fellow leaders. This one will be a classic!

Was a tremendous book that detailed the issues that one faces with daily change and how we can use this change to create a positive outcome for our lives. This book also brings to light the major issues that one will face when making a change and how we can best prepare to handle these obstacle before they arise. Was very well written and I was able to apply it immediately to my life.
