Al the PM info I needed in one place - excellent!

I'm a fairly inexperienced project manager and needed a few tips, but most books I found were written for huge organizations. This one was invaluable and I really recommend it if you're starting out in PM or have been asked to run a biggish project and want to organize your time and resources as efficiently as possible. It's written in a clear and accessible style that makes it easy to assimilate useful information using the author's own experiences, and he also points out the potential pitfalls of cutting corners - it's not usually rocket science but common sense. He leads you through each stage from concept to delivery in sequence, taking in everything from analysis to design, testing, risk assessment and quality control. The information on the differences between Waterfall and Agile was particularly helpful, and I used his suggestions for all the necessary document layouts at the end. All in all, well written, worth buying and has literally saved me hours!
