Just what the doctor ordered!

This is what I was looking for, I've read several self help books. This one gets straight to the point, easy to follow and simply out just managed to strike a chord at the right time. For those of us looking to start the new year on the right foot, this is a great no non-sense easy to follow way to plan, follow through and achieve your goals. Honorée's words of wisdom will be guiding me to success. It's small, easy to read and VERY inspiring!

Set your Rudder, Power up your Engine!

Are you someone who has just started down the road that will take you to success, or made that decision inside that you can, and should, do something so much more with your life? Do you find, however, that your goals seem out of focus? As the days passed by, do you feel you should be making more progress than you are?
If so, buying and reading this book is something you should do today. This is not a “grand tome” that requires weeks of study and contemplation. The information inside is clearly condensed, and conveyed in a way that allows it to be immediately absorbed and understood.
I am glad that I encountered this book on almost exactly the day I needed it most. In the last year, I had made my decision to change. This was my time to leave mediocrity behind and find the version of me I had always hoped for and envisioned. Six months on I was doing well, but my vision still felt out of focus, my goals were disordered. Although I achieved things each day, I went to bed every night believing I could achieve more. The will was there, but my rudder wasn’t straight, and my engine was using too much of its energy to try to push me where I was going by brute force.
If that description resonates with you in any way, I know that you will get a lot out of reading Tall Order.
The author tackles two distinct areas:
First, there are ways to shape your personal thinking and action, to let you see your destination with true clarity, and use your personal qualities to multiply the strengths of one another. By putting them all together, from vision to goals to a challenging yet doable time frame, then adding in addressing your self-talk, maximizing your time, and finding the best help, Honoree eliminates the “Now what?” problem of so many success books and classes. You learn the strategies in the order you need to implement them, eliminating wasted time, confusion, and frustration.
I love the comprehensive nature of the strategies presented. So many times, I’ve seen one or the other of these suggested as THE WAY to find more success in life. But that approach leaves out what to do next and how to put it all together. The sections on mentors, associations, and coaches are especially helpful for folks who are ready to stop dreaming, talking, and complaining, and start making things happen!
